The strategic objective of ROP is to support economic development, social development and territorial balance of all Romanian regions, according to the needs and specific resources with a focus on supporting sustainable development of urban growth poles, improving the business environment and basic infrastructure, to make Romanian regions, especially the most underdeveloped places for investment.<\/p>\n
ROP will lead, ultimately, to reducing interregional disparities and disparities within regions, between urban and rural areas, between urban centers and adjacent areas, and within cities between areas attractive to investors and unattractive through better use of regional synergies.<\/p>\n
National Regional Development Strategy, drawn up on the basis of Regional Development Plans and National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013 identified tourism development as a priority for regional development, given the existing tourism potential in all regions. This potential justifies the financial support for rehabilitation of tourist areas infrastructure and valorization of natural, historical and cultural, for inclusion in the tourist circuit and promoting them to attract tourists.<\/p>\n
Tourism development is fully consistent with the strategic guidelines, the implementation of this priority axis will contribute to improving the attractiveness of regions and create new jobs.<\/p>\n
The main areas of intervention under Priority Axis 5 “Sustainable development and tourism promotion” of ROP are:<\/p>\n
Restoration and sustainable valorization of cultural heritage and setting up \/ modernization of related infrastructure.
\nCreation, development, modernization of tourism infrastructure in order to exploit natural resources and increasing the quality of tourism services.
\nPromoting tourism potential and creating the necessary infrastructure to increase Romania’s attractiveness as a tourist destination.

Promotion of Romanian tourism potential by improving the image of the country, aiming to promote the region abroad Macin and increase its attractiveness for tourism
\nImproving the flow of tourists to the city Macin 10%
\nDeveloping local tourism prinnt a better information to potential visitors. Visitors to 4,500 people are estimated
\nVisitor Centres Increased National Tourism Information and Promotion 4,500 people
\nIncrease web site visitors with 37,000 visitors.
\nMacin is located at the western extremity of Tulcea County, in the northwest of the territory between the Danube and the Black Sea, 12 km from the confluence of the Danube and the Danube Old Nine. Tulcea, administrative and political center of the county of Tulcea is 80 km away from the city center, 25 km from the city of Galati. The city is approaching Braila, Macin 14 km away.<\/p>\n
The city is situated on a plateau terrace that output overland or by river west to Sm\u00e2rdan and Braila, exit road in the east to Greece, Cerna, Tulcea and Constanta, exit River south to Carcaliu Turcoaia, Peceneaga and north to Jijila, Isaccea, Tulcea on the road.<\/p>\n
Macin has many natural and anthropogenic resources, so this project is an important step towards the harmonization of development disparities between regions and economic interest, thus increasing networking of commercial, economic and social relations.<\/p>\n
Contextually, this project falls within the Strategy for the Development of the South East achieved for 2007-2013, namely the strategic axis “Tourism”, which is to develop the tourism potential through better use of existing types of tourism in the South East Region.<\/p>\n
In this regard, integrated project “Establishment information center and tourism promotion (CNIPT) IN Macin, JUD. TULCEA” fully corresponds operations presented in ROP because it is a project that will increase tourism demand in the city Macin. The proposed project is part of a long and complex investment initiative of the applicant, to which will join a number of other projects, equally important for quality of life in the city \u00eembun\u0103nt\u0103\u0163irea Macin.<\/p>\n
Considering tourism representing the city of Macin is likely to increase living standards, projections are to carry out the project for improvement of tourism infrastructure, and then to develop the capacity of attracting a larger number of tourists, following the local and regional economy have benefited accordingly.<\/p>\n
The project to be funded is a component of a much broader investment Macin Local Council, following that once tourism infrastructure to meet European standards to provide optimal conditions for transit tourists to the resort. Currently Macin city has submitted a project for road infrastucturrii, which wants to implement in order to increase capacity to absorb the number of tourists.<\/p>\n
These projects, however, are not interdependent perform each being made independently and both compete in the overall rehabilitation of the existing infrastructure in the resort Macin, having in common the economic, social, technical. The economic context is favorable both at macro and micro level, economy experienced a high growth rate. Social context, respect the local culture is likely to positively influence the development of the project by the experience gained in this respect.
