The place called “The Stone girl’s”
Another landmark that attracts the attention of passers by legends that accompany it, is the rock called “Stone Face”. Positioned on the winding road between Smârdan and ground, the area known as “Stone Face” is a floodplain formed by the Danube, an ideal place for fishing, especially during the period when the waters recede.
Urban legends were not slow to appear because tourists wish to find out the mystery behind the rock surrounded by water did appear sorts of stories.
